Recently, I have specialised in Adapting Exercise for Independently Active Older People and Pre and Post Natal Exercise. I also have a Body Composition Testing machine, which is far more accurate in weight loss, than weighing alone. I enjoy cycling and open water swimming and have taken part in various different endurance events, including triathlons.'

To maintain the highest health and safety standards, the entire Health Club has been cleaned and sanitised prior to closure and have received a further deep clean just before re-opening. In addition to it, we have introduced a 30 minute clean of the area between each hourly slot. This practise has been carried out since our recent re-opening and strictly follows social distancing measures guided by the Government, Public Health England and UK Active.
Please note that families must live at the same address and that our parent/child ratio still stand: 1:1 - under 4's and 2:1 for 4yrs+.
Everyone will have a part to play in keeping our Health Club safe and we will be asking you to follow a few simple rules:
As you know, we have limited numbers in each session (20 max lane swim, and 10 max leisure swim). Upon booking you will be asked whether you would like a lane, or leisure swim, and it is important that you stick to your designated pool throughout your swim to maintain pool ratios.
Swimming aids are permitted, although you will need to provide these yourself and lifeguards will not be handing out woggles.
If you cannot make a session you are booked in for, we would really appreciate it, if you could ring and let us know so we can open that slot for somebody else.
As a gesture of good will, we have changed our pricing for the rest of August - adults - FREE, children (under 16's) - £2.50 per swim
Open to members or residents, you can play for fun or for the more enthusiastic, join the St. Mellion Ladies or Mens section (Associated to the Lawn Tennis Association) and enter the club and local leagues, May to September. To book a game of tennis please contact the Health Club reception.
